Modern technology allows for short print runs of books and papers that are of relevance and value to the Goddess community in Australia. In fact it is possible to publish in such a way that books are downloaded from a website.

GAIA Inc. has established a publishing arm that will ‘publish’, promote and sell books and resources of interest to people in the Goddess community in Australia. This will be both a service to the community and the source of income for the organisation.

The Management Committee has appointed a working group to act as an ‘Editorial Panel’ which has responsibility for vetting possible publications which will then be made available via the website.

Details will differ with each publication in terms of size, potential interest, associated costs etc. and the Editorial Panel will discuss these and make a recommendation to the GAIA Committee as to the best course of action on each publication.

The Editorial Panel has the authority to consult with other women who may have expertise in this area.

The first publication of Gaia’s Ink! was Gaia Emerging: Goddess Beliefs and Practices in Australia written by Drs Patricia Rose and Tricia Szirom who are both members of the organisation. All profits from the sale of this book go to GAIA Inc.

Dr. Patricia Rose has recently offered another manuscript to Gaia’s Ink! which is currently being considered by the Editorial Panel. Other possible publications are being sought for consideration.
