Mary Magdalene - Workshop Presented by Dr Tricia Szirom

Tricia Szirom from Gaia’s Garden in Kew East and author of ‘Seasons of the Goddess: Perspectives from the Southern Hemisphere’ is our special guest workshop presenter this month.

In this workshop Tricia will be discussing Mary Magdalene. Who was she? Prostitute, disciple, wife of Jesus, priestess of the Goddess?

While this Mary was mentioned more than any other disciple in the New Testament, there is confusion about who she was, where she came from, what her relationship was with Jesus and what part she played in the story of the early Christian church. This workshop will explore the stories of this amazing woman and look at the role she plays in the lives of women today.

Lunch will be provided.
